It’s a fine line, I think, between being driven and being content. I think “content” has been a negative word for entrepreneurs. We think we need to be always working to be better. I think that’s good, but being content with life in general seems to lead to a better quality of life.
Have you ever known someone that always seems to be searching for happiness? Maybe that person is you. Maybe everyone falls on this arc somewhere. When you’re looking for happiness you kind of stumble around trying different things: moving, trips, clothes, stuff, stuff and more stuff. But will that all work? Probably not. Today I’m going to a cocktail hour and dinner event at my old university. It’s been 8 years since I graduated and a lot has happened. I guess I’m supposed to share my experiences with the students. I haven’t really used Facebook for about two or three years now. At that time I removed all the friends I had and moved on from using the service. I still have the account, but don’t check it and looking back I have to say that I don’t miss the service one bit.
