Ghost Blogging is a Growing Industry

We here at Ghost Blog Writers understand that there is a growing demand for ghost writing.

It’s not just in the blogging world, but in all areas of content. It seems ghost writing has always been acknowledged, but never really accepted in certain ways. That makes sense. People want to believe that writers create their own content, but they also realize that people are busy and they need help formatting ideas and creating content from scratch.

Recently, Darren Rowse of Problogger wrote a guest post on the Flippa Blog where he mentioned ghost writing:

Ghost writing is a growing industry. – Darren Rowse of Problogger

Google for ghosts: Ghost writing is a growing industry, so a web search for ghost writers who cover your industry, or have expertise in your field, might turn up some good options.

This is big for the blogging industry. The point was part of a larger headline in the article discussing how companies or website owners can reach out to find help for the writing of the blog content.

Darren is probably seeing this as we are at GBW. People in business want to get into blogging. Some even start a blog with a great plan and they start out and blog for a few weeks or a few months.

Then the ideas run out. The owners realize that blogging is more work than anticipated. The owners realize that maybe they don’t enjoy writing that much and the nature of blogging requires a time investment to gain traction.

The result of those frustrations or miscalculated expectations are dead blogs. Or maybe a better term would be Zombie Blogs. These are everywhere on the web and you don’t really have to look that hard. Go to a few business websites that have blogs. Chances are that at least some and probably the majority will not have updates from the past month.

That is why Darren is suggesting that businesses find help. Darren has turned blogging into a business. Part of that business is writing for bloggers. Darren knows the struggle it is to keep a blog updated. Also, Darren sees the demand for writers on the Problogger Job Board.

Ghost writing and ghost blogging are growing industry. If you’re serious about starting a business blog and understand that maybe you don’t have the time to write yourself there are options.

Google “ghost writing + your industry” or something similar. Hopefully Ghost Blog Writers will come up.

You can always give us a call to discuss your blog and how it can help your business grow.
